Adult Volunteer Opportunities

We’re looking for volunteers with big hearts and open minds, who enjoy working with young people!  If that's you, here are some ways you can help:

Drop-in Volunteer: (Currently not needing any drop-in volunteers)

On a weekly, or as needed basis, to work with another staff member in our Drop In Center with 15-24 year olds.  May include assisting young people with looking for employment, getting connected to housing, basic needs and food.  The shifts are Mon-Thurs 2:30-5:00.  If interested, please call Sara at 952.988.5337

Provide a meal for our monthly support group:

Some of our young people meet once a month, and it includes a meal together.  If interested, please call Sara at 952.988.5337

Development:

MoveFwd needs volunteers who know how to make our organization grow through cultivating new donors and developing relationships with local corporations who believe in our mission.  If interested call Rachel  952.988.4942

Communications:

We need people with excellent marketing, public relations, writing and/or social media skills to make sure our young people and community know about MoveFwd.  If interested call Rachel 952.988.4942

Governance & Nominating:

We need volunteers to ensure we find people who want to share their gifts with MoveFwd and provide general oversight to Board of Director governance.  If interested call Rachel  952.988.4942
